📖 The Midgley Pace Egg is a historical Northern play performed every Good Friday in the Calder Valley area; dating back to the 18th century, it is one of the oldest Mummers' Plays in England.
🗓️⏳ The Pace Egg is around 20-30 mins per show, and is performed in 10 different locations around Calder Valley throughout the day (with the first performance of the day starting around 8:30AM, and the last around 3:30PM)
👨👩👧💸 The Pace Egg is family-friendly and free to attend (although any spare change for the donation bucket would be massively appreciated!)
❗Please note: the Midgley Pace Egg and the Heptonstall Pace Egg are operated by two separate groups❗
⭐ Please join the "Support The Midgley Pace Egg" Facebook group if you are a spectator of the Pace Egg - all updates and news is shared there.
