PLAYGROUND REPAIRS
We have been advised that the playground repairs will be finished tomorrow rather than today. The contractors have said that they will make the park as safe as they can before leaving tonight, but please be vigilant and careful if you visit the park tonight or tomorrow before the repairs are finished.

PLAYGROUND REPAIRS
Playground repairs will be taking place today and tomorrow (Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September) in the Welfare Field. Repairs will be carried out to:
the slide (smoothing the concrete block at the tops and landscaping it to make it safer)
the swings (replacing the chains and seats on the junior swings and repairing the wetpour surfacing)
the existing safety surfacing underneath the large climbing frame will be replaced with a shock pad and grass mats.
We are still looking into the best solution for the tyre swing.
The park will be open and it will be possible to use equipment which is not undergoing repairs.

Butterfly Garden Volunteer Session
Wednesday 19th August 6-7pm
We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the stone butterfly at the Butterfly Garden. If you can spare a little time, please come along and help us. Please bring hand tools and wear appropriate clothing. In the event of bad weather, the session will be cancelled.

We are looking for volunteers to help maintain the stone butterfly at the Butterfly Garden. If you can spare a little time, please come along and help us. Please bring hand tools and wear appropriate clothing. In the event of bad weather, the session will be cancelled.

THANK YOU!
A big thank you to the volunteers who came to the Butterfly Garden last Wednesday. We had good weather and have cleared some paths around the planters and have removed the vegetation from the butterfly's head. We hope to organise another session soon.

Heddon Parish Council have received and approved the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) 2025 -26. Residents have the right to inspect and make copies of the paperwork relating to this financial year.
