Back in the day, playgrounds weren’t “fun zones”, they were survival training grounds where every slide was a metal frying pan, every seesaw was a catapult, and every swing set doubled as a physics experiment gone wrong. 😃

Yet somehow we all walked home with a bruised knee, a wonky haircut, and the confidence of someone who’d just completed Navy training at age seven.

A recent fire in a refuse truck is believed to have been caused by a v**e thrown into household waste. No injuries, but crews and vehicles were put at risk.

🔋 Never bin batteries, v**es, phones, laptops or electrical items.
Lithium‑ion batteries can ignite when crushed during collection.
♻️ Batteries: recycle at supermarkets or HWRCs
♻️ Vapes: return to participating retailers or HWRCs

Southampton tore through Millwall at St Mary’s, Cyle Larin bagging one in each half to lead a ruthless Saints performance.

Mark Sykes gave Millwall an early lead, but Larin levelled, Finn Azaz made it 2–1, and the second half turned into a demolition: Larin again, a Leo Scienza penalty, and a Tom Fellows strike sealing a dominant win.

Saints climb to 17th, now on +2 points after starting the season on –4. Millwall drop to fifth after their first defeat.
