Disturbing Incident outside the Village Hall Henham

A Black Mercedes approached a young person!

“They were hassling the person asking for her age. Very persistent - they drove off and then reversed back. Heading from Hamperden End going towards war memorial. Incident occurred around 5:30pm
Outside village hall

The man driving
-very thick beard
-quite short frizzy hair -skinny
-claims to be 24

The passenger
-over weight
-bald/balding
-slight beard(bit more than a stubble)

Both had balloons in their mouths and were very clearly intoxicated.

The incident has been reported to the Police.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd undertakes structure examination.

Henham Parish Council

Today the Christmas Tree was erected outside OSCA. HPC would like to thank Simon Bambridge, Mark Fisher, Mark Fiddler, Gary and Jan King and Neil Pimblett for their efforts. Jenny Loader for the bacon butties, and Emma Fisher for the mulled wine.
If someone could post a photo after dark it would be great.

HPC are aware that a Travellers Community have arrived at an Equestrian Site in Henham Parish. The site is on Henham Road , shortly after making a left turn leaving Mill Road towards Thaxted. A number of Static and Touring Caravans have moved into the site and appear to have taken up residence. HPC are liaising with UDC and ECC to establish the legality of the situation and will keep residents updated as the situation clarifies. The site has planning permission as an equestrian centre, not as a travellers site.
