HELP .... Do any of our followers know of someone with the farming capability to cut our grass ? We have been let down by the regular Grass Contractor. We would be happy to let the cut grass/hay be taken free of charge ..... If it's not cut this year then the growth will suffer next year .......

The replacement water storage tank for the Doggy Drinking Bowl has been replaced and, thanks to the generosity of three Park users, we have also been able to replace the old plastic bowl and fittings with something a little more robust. The bowl refils automatically - please DO NOT disconnect or tamper with the fittings, this caused numerous problems with the previous set-up. Enjoy !

It's THAT time of year again. Please remember that whilst the fruit in the Orchard is there for anyone to pick there a few helpful and Comunity-spirited things to remember .... Please don't pick UNRIPE fruit (the only fruit currently ready are a few early Greengages) picking unripe fruit often damages the tree as it is tugged from the branch. Please only take what fulfills your current, personal need (you could always pop back in a few days for a bit more !) ripe fruit will often fall if you gently "nudge" the trunk (no need for ladders or climbing) PLEASE do not gather bags and bags full, there are hundreds of other Park users that might might want a few apples, damsons or pears for their own use. APA have nurtured this Orchard of native fruit varieties for over 20 years, our hard work has paid off - please, feel free to take the ripe fruit .... and have a quiet word with folk who abuse the supply. x
