A new chapter for St Faith's Church ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

If you've walked past Dorstone Church & Bells recently, you'll know the church is currently closed and building work is well underway.

As part of the Dorstone Settlement Timeline project, St Faith's is undergoing a series of improvements โ€“ transforming how the building can be used, not only for worship, but as a welcoming community space for everyone.

The works include energy-efficient heating and lighting, two new toilets, a modern kitchen, and a larger, more flexible space at the rear of the building.

We're also creating a permanent home for the Dorstone Settlement Timeline exhibit โ€“ where the story of Dorstone, from Neolithic times to the present day, can be told, explored and celebrated.

The churchyard and footpaths remain open throughout, so please do continue to visit โ€“ and we'll keep you updated as the works progress.
