and tell us the EU is good for Britain, we all know that they have been corrupted by an EU promise of fame and fortune. Feathering their own nests and those of their immediate family seems to be their only concern. Just listen to the outrageous comments coming from Nick Clegg who's wife has a very highly paid job dependant on Britain's EU membership. While British people are having to rely on food banks and struggling to stay warm, these politicians are enjoying a millionaires lifestyle. January 2014 sees another influx of poor Eastern Europeans who will further deprive British workers of jobs. Romanians who are willing to work for minimum wage thus undercutting British workers who cannot afford to feed their families or stay warm. Blaming employers is not fair as they are squeezed by taxes to support welfare. This country is about to collapse under the pressure of EU membership and those pro-eu parties stand by waiting for it to happen.

Now Prime Minister Andy Burnham has proposed bringing up to 4,000 of those still in Ceuta to Britain, with the first arrivals expected as early as the first week of September. Reports that Iran has attempted to send suspected covert operatives into Britain through Channel migrant routes have intensified concerns about the national-security implications of uncontrolled crossings. The Telegraph reported that Iranian-linked individuals had been detected using small boats to enter the UK, although this does not mean that ordinary Iranian asylum seekers or Channel migrants are agents.

The allegation comes amid a broader Iranian state threat. British security officials have previously said that MI5 and the police disrupted at least 20 potentially lethal Iran-backed plots from 2022 onwards, including alleged plans targeting dissidents and Jewish communities in Britain. Iran has denied accusations that it directs hostile operations in the UK.

Almost 39,000 people arrived in Britain by small boat during the year ending March 2026, representing approximately 90% of detected unauthorised arrivals. Nearly all Channel arrivals subsequently claim asylum.
