Eyes down... and let the bingo begin!

It was all happening at Buckshaw Retirement Village as residents got stuck into a few lively games of bingo.

A little friendly competition, plenty of number spotting and the all-important race to shout BINGO! made for a fun time together. Who doesn't love the thrill of being one number away? 😄

🌼 A lifelong love of gardening is helping Fairways Care Centre bloom!

Resident Mervyn has taken charge of the garden at Fairways Care Centre, spending the spring and summer planting, watering and caring for colourful flower beds for everyone to enjoy.

With a lifetime of gardening experience behind him, Mervyn has been putting his green fingers to good use, helping to create a beautiful outdoor space filled with colour. 🌻🌿

A wonderful contribution and a garden that can be enjoyed by everyone! 💚

Residents explore Hull's maritime history

Residents from Isaac Robinson Court our learning disabilities home in Hull recently enjoyed a trip to the newly reopened Hull Maritime Museum, exploring the city's fascinating connection with the sea.

The museum has recently reopened following a major transformation, with new galleries showcasing more than 800 years of Hull's maritime history. Visitors can discover ship models, maritime artwork, fascinating objects and an impressive 40-foot whale skeleton, alongside exhibits exploring Hull's fishing and seafaring heritage.

The visit was a great opportunity for residents to get out into the local community, explore somewhere new and enjoy an interesting day out together. With so much to see throughout the museum, there was plenty to discover and enjoy.

It was a fantastic day out and a chance for residents to experience one of Hull's much-loved cultural attractions following its reopening ⚓
