We have a stunning 25m - 6 lane competitive swimming pool, studio and splash pools, state of the art gym and much more. Wentworth Leisure Centre underwent a £10 million redevelopment project in 2008 which saw complete refurbishment of the existing facilities, a new extension including a 25 metre x 6 lane pool, studio pool, pool changing, reception, café and outdoor changing facilities. y and variety of activities available at the new centre means there is something for everyone at Wentworth, from Jungle Jacks Soft Play and pool inflatable for children through to a modern gym and extensive choice of classes in our fitness studios for adults. NEW FOR 2011 is Wentworth Bowl, Wentworth Leisure Centre's 8 lane ten pin bowling centre with new cafe and extended soft play cafe area. Open seven days a week, our new tenpin centre is an ideal location for a fun packed day or night out!

Are you available this Friday 4th September, 3:30-4:30pm? If so, come along for a Gentle Moves class aimed at improving strength and balance, at Barrasford Village Hall! 💪

Our Healthy Community Instructor, Cailin, will be leading the class and is looking forward to starting off weekly sessions in the community 😁

The team have been busy carrying out essential maintenance of our gym lockers today. All locks have now been switched over to a padlock system in gym changing rooms.

Please purchase a padlock 🔐 as soon as possible. They are available to buy from reception or you’re welcome to purchase/provide your own padlock.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused but hopefully will provide a better user experience going forward.

Customer Notice ‼️

We will be closing the female gym changing rooms between Wednesday 19th August and Friday 21st August between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

We have alternative changing rooms available to use.

This closure allows us to make neccasary upgrades to our locker system in the changing rooms.

💪 A success story built on teamwork.

After experiencing significant health challenges that affected her mobility and independence, Catherine was referred to our Exercise Referral Programme here at Wentworth, where she worked closely with Sandra to gradually rebuild her strength, confidence and fitness.

Through the combined support of NHS services, our Exercise Referral Programme and Active Health classes, Catherine has made incredible progress and continues to enjoy taking part in activities at Wentworth each week.

Catherine's is a remarkable story, and it was an absolute pleasure to meet her and hear all about it. A fantastic example of what can be achieved when people work together towards a shared goal. Well done Catherine - for showing such determination and resilience - and to Sandra, Stephen and the wider Wentworth team for all their support 💪🧡
