Thames Valley Air Ambulance We provide emergency medical care by air and land to patients in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance is a charity at the frontline of saving lives. We bring the hospital to the patient, giving you the best chance when the worst happens. Every day, somebody in our community could be in urgent need of our service. We rely solely on the generous support of the public. When Millie came off her horse in 2025, her life was changed in an instant. Millie suffered a significant head injury and remained in the neurological intensive care unit for nine days after being placed into an induced coma.

Thanks to the vital role our crew played on scene and the support offered by our Aftercare team, Millie has been able to enjoy being back in the saddle once again. ❤

Millie’s parent’s said “We’re filled with gratitude that Thames Valley Air Ambulance came into our lives. They made the worst times bearable.”.

As an independent charity, we receive no regular government or NHS funding. Everything we do – at the scene of the emergency and beyond - is only possible because of people like you.

Did you know that only one in three people in our region would feel confident performing CPR?

Fewer than one in ten people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, but when bystanders act quickly with CPR and a defibrillator, a person’s chances of survival more than doubles.

That’s why we’re hosting FREE CPR workshops this . Our CPR awareness sessions will teach you what to do in a critical situation and give you the confidence to act when it matters most. 💓

Cardiac arrest can happen anytime, anywhere. By learning how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator, you could give someone in the community the best possible chance of survival.

The forecast is looking perfect for a ride this weekend. 🌤️

We’re expecting dry conditions, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. All adding up to a great day to get out on the bike. So why not make this Sunday’s ride one that saves lives?

Join a convoy of other bikers on Sunday 27th September for our , to raise vital funds for your local air ambulance service.

📅 When: Sunday 27th September 2026 from 9:30am
📍 Where: Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire
🏍️ How far: 25-mile scenic ride around the Chilterns

We’re suggesting a donation of £15 per rider and £5 per pillion, but if you want to make your donation go the extra mile, you could also set up a JustGiving page and encourage family and friends to sponsor you.
