⚠️SPEEDING VEHICLES ON DEDMERE ROAD, MARLOW.

Marlow NHPT are appealing for any information relating to loud vehicles speeding along DEDMERE ROAD and surrounding areas in the early hours of the morning.

Sadly, this is only a week after a serious injury road traffic incident further along this road. This is a narrow 30mph road with lots of parked vehicles where '20 is plenty'.

Can you help?
Do you have any CCTV footage that shows the vehicles and/or registration plates in question?
Do you know anyone involved?

🗣️ You said, we did 🗣️

The Wycombe Town Centre Neighbourhood Team is aware of reports of anti-social behaviour and drug use outside Sumner House on Mendy Street. This was also raised in our 'have your say' meeting on the High Street only yesterday afternoon.

This afternoon, patrols were conducted in this area and four males were seen hanging around outside the block. On closer inspection, two of them were in possession of cannabis and a grinder. These were seized, and names and addresses for the four taken.

We may not always deal with the individuals concerned straightaway, but they will be getting visits from officers over the next few days.

We are dedicated to tackling issues like this is the town centre. If you are affected, please report via 999/101 or online, and we will take action.

Today, the Princes Risborough neighbourhood team were out on the High Street, taking part in the weekly Market Day 👮‍♂️

Local issues such as speeding and anti-social behaviour were discussed. Speaking with the community about these matters always helps the team to develop their information and intelligence regarding the issues, to then focus on taking action against those responsible. Over the next few months, the team will be out conducting speed operations and will continue with patrols in areas where anti-social behaviour is highlighted to be of most concern.

Many thanks to everyone that stopped to chat 💙

If you missed them, the team will be at Kop Hill Climb to chat with local residents and anyone else on the 12th and 13th September. In addition, the next Have your Say event will be in Widmer End on 26th September from 10:30 am (more details to follow)

Multiple acceptable behaviour contracts (ABCs) issued last week in High Wycombe 👮

In total, 9 acceptable behaviour contracts were signed last Thursday (13/8) by young people who have been linked to incidents of anti-social behaviour in and around High Wycombe town centre. Officers spoke with both the young individuals and their parent/guardian to reiterate the impact that behaving in an unacceptable manor has on other members of the public.

At the same time, officers and PCSOs were speaking to other young people in the area and carrying out high-visibility patrols in the town centre, providing reassurance to businesses, residents and visitors while identifying and addressing anti-social behaviour as it happens.

Have you witnessed or been a victim of anti-social behaviour? Report it online: https://orlo.uk/sYJaU or by calling 101. Don't wish to talk to police? Call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. If a crime is in progress, always call 999.
