From today until Friday 4th September, Chapel Lane will be closed from 7am-7pm ⛔️ This will cause an increase to traffic using Mill End Road.🚗

We are incredibly proud to announce we have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag – a prestigious international accreditation recognising our commitment to environmental action and sustainability.

Keep Britain Tidy Eco-Schools Green Flag celebrates schools where young people lead the way in making a positive difference for the environment. Our dedicated Eco Committee worked hard to carry out an environmental review, develop an action plan, and lead initiatives that have helped make our school a greener, more sustainable place to learn.

This achievement is a testament to the enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment of our pupils, staff, governors and wider school community. Together, we've shown that even small actions can have a big impact, whilst inspiring the next generation of environmental champions! 💚🌍

🐞🦋 Year 2's Insect Hotel is Open for Business! 🐝🐛

Our Year 2 children have been busy creating a wonderful insect hotel in our Faith Garden to provide a safe and welcoming habitat for local wildlife.

Using a wooden pallet as the main structure, the children carefully filled it with a variety of natural materials, including logs, bamboo sticks, dry leaves, twigs, stones and coconut shells. These different materials create cosy microhabitats where a range of insects can shelter, rest and nest.

To make our tiny visitors feel even more at home, we have also placed water nearby so they can drink and stay hydrated.

We can't wait to see who checks into our insect hotel first! 🐞🌿💚
