Henry Chichele Primary School will be taking part in Higham Ferrers Secret Gardens. The event will take place on Sunday 14th of June from 12-5pm.

🎟️ You can buy your programme map/ticket from the stall at Market Square, which will provide you with a wrist band for entry. Tickets are £5 and children under 16 go free.

🫖 Tea and cakes are also being organised by Mother Louise at St Mary’s Church from 1-4pm.

🌷 There will also be a wheelbarrow display with sensory plants from local schools at Duchy Barn Garden!

🍹Why not grab yourself a glass of Pimm’s at Higham Ferrers Bowls club on your way round!

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ve been talking with the children about feelings, wellbeing and the importance of speaking up. 💚

Mental health can look different for everyone, even young children, and simple things like talking, listening, being active, and spending time with others can really help.

Coming tomorrow! ⬇️

We are delighted to share that Skipping Ninja will be visiting the school tomorrow to work with the pupils, helping them to develop their skipping skills in a fun and engaging way! Skipping activities are a fantastic way for children to build coordination and physical skills, as well as also encouraging teamwork and cooperative play with their peers.

We are especially excited to welcome Pete Thompson, who will lead a 30 minute session with pupils throughout the day.

Your child is welcome to come to school in their P.E kit tomorrow if they wish, although this is not compulsory.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase merchandise at the end of the day. 🪢👧 👦

Thank you to everyone who came to our Easter trail, it was a great morning! We raised an AMAZING £535.29! Thank you to the donations from the walking group who we were able to fund the Easter eggs. Also thank you to Tesco's for their donations!

Massive thank you to the volunteers and for those who stayed to tidy up! We really appreciate it, so thank you.

Thank you to the yummy cakes which we had donated and made.

We hope everyone has enjoyed a lovely Easter and restful holiday!

Thank you for everyone that took part & contributed in Ups n Downs "Odd Sock Day". We definitely saw some funny feet walking around the school. An amazing £85.34 was raised for such a wonderful cause.
