A young newt and very recently metamorphosed toads in the Tin House pond. . The first one still has a tail. There were young frogs (much lighter brown coloured) too but they were too fasr for me, hopping ten/twenty times their size in one jump.

Kidney vetch seeds that I was given at the Small Blue butterfly conference germinating in a bare patch on the edge of the Caravan track. Small Blue butterflies are completely dependant on kidney vetch for food and for laying their eggs.
