We need to hold our hands up 🫤 - we forgot to tell you all about our employee of the month for June! (We blame the excitement of the world cup!)

So...... drum roll 🥁 please for Bev Scott!

Bev is recognised by her peers on a regular basis and receives frequent nominations. However for June, she’s our winner.

Bev always gives 100% effort, has a ‘can do’ attitude and consistently delivers high standards of work.

Bev’s dedication, professionalism and willingness to help her colleagues is commendable. Having Bev as part of our team only makes Hygenie stronger.

Meet our team... Samuel Charles

Sam started with Hygenie back in May 2024 – originally as a Service Controller and has recently been promoted to Service Manager - it most definitely feels like he’s part of the team for much longer than just over 2 years though!

Originally from Essex, Sam has now lived in the Midlands for 4 years and is another of our staff who’s a keen Manchester United supporter (we think we need to have this as one of our interview questions soon, we’re getting overrun!)

Another sportsman on our team, Sam plays cricket for Barwell in the Leicestershire Premier 1 Division as well as being a keen fisherman (see his impressive catch in the pictures!) and loves visiting the open countryside with his gorgeous dog – most recently the Peak District and Pembrokeshire have been amongst their adventures.

In his spare time Sam loves nothing more than donning his apron in the kitchen – and has some impressive dishes he likes to whip up. (If only he’d bring them into the office!).

He also likes to read and on average will have read around 50 books by the end of this year – a mix of fiction and non-fiction! That’s some going!

We’re also pretty impressed with Sam’s education too - a Bachelors Segree in Sport Science and Management from Nottingham Trent and a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Organisational Innovation from Queen Mary University of London.

We’re extremely lucky to have Sam on our team (also part of our ‘not forgotten’ boy band too!).
