Holbrook Village Post Office

It is with great sadness that we have to confirm the permanent closure of Holbrook post office at the Spotted Calf Café. The last day of trading will be this Friday 22nd July. The reasons for closure were a combination of staffing issues and economics. Post Office Limited are seeing whether it may be possible to provide an outreach service.

Hi all! After being disrupted by Covid for the past two years, the Holbrook Fete is due to make a come-back on 9th July 2022. The fete committee are putting together a rota of volunteers to man the BBQ; would you be able to offer your time to take on a one hour shift?

If you are able to help then please let them know on 07801-718-212. (1) how many shifts you can manage, (2) whether you have a preference for daytime (12:00-18:00) or evening (18:00-22:00) shifts, and (3) whether you have a preference for helping front of house (taking orders, serving, food prep etc) or else helping cook the burgers/sausages?

Additionally if you know of any other friends/family who could help out then please put them in contact with them on 07801-718-212
