The team behind 'Iolo's Valleys' which airs on BBC One Wales tonight at 7pm with all episodes on BBC iPlayer shortly after.

As always, an absolute pleasure to work with these incredible people and a joy to be out and discovering wildlife in wonderful Wales.

The South Wales Valleys were altogether new to me and I was blown away by the beauty and variety to be found there. I will enjoy watching and reminiscing, hope you might too!

It's finally here! πŸ₯³πŸ¦πŸ¦ŽπŸ¦…

I am particularly delighted to have been able to combine my love of Anglesey and it's wildlife with my role creating TV series with Iolo Williams... and here we have 'Iolo's Anglesey'.

The first episode will air on Friday 10th June at 7:30pm on BBC One Wales and the series will be on BBC iPlayer for all to enjoy.

Iolo Williams explores Anglesey to look for the rich diversity of its wildlife.

Our series about wildlife in the Cambrian Mountains of Wales is now being shown on BBC Two .

You can catch it tonight at 8pm (or repeated Saturday at 4:45pm). Then, confusingly, the rest of the series will be aired at 7:30pm on Tues and Wednesday and then the following Thursday... I think πŸ€”

I hope more people around the UK will now be able to watch the show. Enjoy!

I've just had my first look at the trailer for our show 'Iolo's Pembrokeshire', so here it is for you too.

Episode one airs on Monday (5th July) at 19:35 on BBC One Wales, the whole series will be available on iPlayer shortly afterwards.

My role is as a researcher, finding and researching wildlife and locations. You'll spot my name way at the end of the credits πŸ˜…

My latest TV series with Aden Productions, Iolo's Pembrokeshire: The Wild West.

2020 sure was a strange year for programme-making, but we managed it. I'm in the unusual position of not having seen any of the footage we captured (because of COVID-related restrictions), so when this airs in July it will be the first time I've seen it too.

BBC One Wales, Monday 5th July - 7:30pm & iPlayer shortly afterwards.

In this new series on BBC One Wales, Iolo takes us on a journey across Pembrokeshire to show us spectacular scenery and all the wildlife that lives there.

Calling all Anglesey wildlife-watchers... πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

πŸ”Ž Do you have any regular sightings of mammals that you can share with me? They can be seasonal sightings, but it must be something which occurs regularly, or perhaps something newly spotted which you think will happen again.

πŸ¦‡ I'm particularly interested in stories and interesting behaviours. Please share your stories with me by emailing [email protected] (it really ends like that!).

Had a small amount of input into this series, but mainly I'm looking forward to watching it! It's all about where to watch wildlife in Wales at this time of year. We can't travel to see any of it right now, so we might as well watch it on the tele!

The series is on S4C and is in Welsh, but if your Welsh isn't up to scratch or non-existant I hope you'll still watch with subtitles. I'm hoping it will help me improve my Welsh language skills as I watch along.

In England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, S4C is available on Sky 134, Freesat 120 and Virgin TV 166 and you'll also find it on iPlayer.

9pm, S4C, Tuesday 20th October for four weeks.

Enjoy!

When Ken and I get together we always have magical moments ✨

Since we've been able, we've got together twice. The first time Ken spotted a pine marten as he waited for me in a car park and last week we spotted a sunfish as we watched gannets and porpoises off Point Lynas on Anglesey! Absolutely brilliant.

This is a photo taken by someone who, unbeknownst to us, spotted it slightly south of there a few days previously. Thank you for capturing this amazing sight for us!

A sunfish has been one of my most wanted for almost 20 years so I am pretty thrilled to have watched one floating just under the surface of the water before a harbour porpoise unceremoniously knocked it out of the way!!🐟🐬

Sad to say that the beautiful golden eagle that made the Tregaron area her home was found dead recently.

She featured in our series about the Cambrian Mountains which airs next week (but is on iPlayer now), meaning I spent a year getting to know her for the show. I'll miss her along with all of her human fans.

Because of the show, we were contacted on Twitter and I was able to retrieve her body and enlist her in the Wildlife Incident Investigation Scheme by the Welsh Government so we hope to find out that she died of natural causes.

Current research work takes me to the STUNNING Pembrokeshire searching for wildlife.

It's a real privilege and I'd like to share it with you now that many folks are out and about again, but particularly with those who aren't.

🀫 (look out for another Iolo Williams series in 2021!)
