🌟The Mayor of Holywell, Pat Corbett, was delighted to attend the 70th Anniversary Walk of Holywell Rambling Club joining for the celebratory tea at the Holywell Pet Cemetery.

🌟The group are holding further events to mark the 70th anniversary including a walk up Moel Famau on June 25th and a dinner on Saturday July 25th. The club is inviting former members to come along and join them on these events.

Holywell Town F.C. are having another volunteers day, to help prepare the ground for their new season in Tier 1. All the details are below.

We're having another volunteers day at Halkyn Road next Saturday as we tick things off the list ahead of Tier 1 football next season.

We're looking for help on all sorts of tasks around the ground so if you can come and help us get the ground ready, it would be greatly appreciated.

Kick off is 10am till 4pm

This Sunday there is something very special on at St James’ Holywell. S4C will be filming a Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol (Start Singing, Start Praising), celebrating 300 years of the Welsh naturalist Thomas Pennant. All are welcome to come and join along with the choir in community singing. Please note that the entire evening will be in Welsh (Cymraeg). The event starts at 7pm with doors open from 6.30pm. Entrance is free, but a donation would be appreciated. 🙏

🌟Holywell prepares for Wales in Bloom

🌟You may see over the next few days planters and hanging baskets going up around Holywell and Greenfield.

🌟We have already made a start and the first plantings have happened in Greenfield, The Strand and on the bypass.

🌟There will be lots more happening over the next couple of weeks with various community groups getting involved in preparing some of the planters, watch this space for updates!
