Well Inn Festival - Saturday 5th September
Stage Spotlight - Music4Youth stage.
This stage is a great place to see a lot of up and coming local talent. Situated at the bottom of the High Street. The acts will be starting just after 11am
🔈 First up is Peggy. Peggy is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Chester. Regularly seen singing and playing guitar across North Wales and Cheshire. She writes her own songs and is currently recording her debut album. She also plays bass and ukulele, with piano being her favourite instrument, and is about to study Music Production at Deeside College. She will be performing in Bugsy Malone at Chester Storyhouse this October where she will be acting, singing and performing a ukulele solo song.
🔈 Next up is Singer/Guitarist Ethan, more information to follow, watch this space!
🔈 Baden is next ....otherwise know as Iron Baden! He started playing guitar in 2019, when he was 8 and first played in public in Holywell High Street helping St. Winefrides Preschool fund raising.
The first time he played at Music4Youth's Open Mic was in 2023 and was introduced as Iron Baden. This name has stuck which is ideal as his passion is for electric guitar and is inspired by Heavy Rock / Metal.
🔈Xander will be following on – The Next Generation Rockstar 🎸🥁
At just 11 years old, Xander is already making a big noise in music!
With just 4 years behind a drum kit (Grade 7) and 10 months mastering bass (Grade 4), he’s a force to be reckoned with, proven by his 2nd place finish at the 2026 National Eisteddfod.
Inspired by legends like Dave Grohl and Cliff Burton, Xander's favourite bands include System of a Down, Royal Blood, and Metallica.
And his ultimate dream? To headline Glastonbury!
Watch this space ... Xander might just be up there one day!
🔈Will Jamesion is the penultimate act. Will is a drummer, guitarist and also sings vocals . He is currently currently studying A Level music at Prestatyn High. He has played in bands over the past few years mostly playing the drums and backing vocals, but recently has started as a soloist on guitar with vocals.
He has been with Music4Youth for the past 4 years.
🔈Last, but by no means least, PURE - Rock & Pop duo will be the final Music4Youth act. Pure are Rhian and Aled a rock and pop duo from North Wales. Aled started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and Rhian started singing at 6 years old with Philsharmonics choir.
They met through Music4Youth about 3 1/2 years ago, but only started performing together as a duo 6 months ago. They are both studying Music in 6th form and hope to keep performing for many years to come.
