THE FINAL COUNT DOWN...7

With just 1 week of my 500,000 step challenge left to go, the end is in sight.

I have completed a total of 468,371 steps to date and have just 31,629 left to do.

I have certainly noticed that the mornings are getting darker (and wetter). I am looking forward to getting a bit more sleep.

So far, thanks to all your wonderfull donations I have raised £330 towards Diabetes research. If you have not had a chance to donate yet you can do so at https://step.diabetes.org.uk/fundraising/stephen2327

Thank you.

It's the July 1st and my 500,000 step challenge for Diabetes UK officially starts today. 🥳🥳

Practice has gone well - I walked 95km in June and have already lost 1 Stone in weight. As you can see below I have received my official laces and thanks to your kind donations a t-shirt that I hope to fit into by the end of the challenge in September!

I am off for my first challenge walk now, if you would like to sponsor me, my JustGiving page can be found at https://step.diabetes.org.uk/fundraising/stephen2327 -page

I appreciate that squirrels are not everyone's favourite animal, Donna hates them when they dig up and eat the bulbs. They do however pose for some great photo's, this one even showed me where he hides his nuts! 📷📷🐿🐿🥜🥜😂😂

A selection of the many different types of Hoverfly that visit the garden. We planted a good selection of flower types, which have attracted a huge variety of shapes, sizes and speeds but the Daisy is the one they all love.
