Meeting of the Hornsea Town Council Parks, Cemeteries and Planning committee, Monday 1st June 2026, 7.00pm at the Rising of The Town Council Meeting at the Town Hall. Please go to the Hornsea Town Council website to view the agenda and for further details.

With effect from Saturday 2nd May, the parking regulations at the Cinema Street Car Park will be amended. Free parking, to a maximum of three hours, will now apply Monday to Sunday between 8:00am and 6:00pm. There are no parking restrictions in place from 6.00pm until 8.00am each day. Read More...

NEW MAYOR AND DEPUTY FOR HORNSEA!
A huge congratulations to the the new Mayor of Hornsea Cllr Stephen Prescott and the new Deputy Mayor Cllr Nick Cox! Both councillors were elected to their respective civic roles at the Annual Meeting of the Hornsea Town Council yesterday evening. Hornsea Town Council members and staff would like to offer their very best wishes to Cllr Stephen and Cllr Nick for an enjoyable and successful year in office.

Youth Worker Required for Hornsea Youth Club and Hornsea Detached Youth Work Team

Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and motivated individual to assist in the ongoing development and delivery of established youth provision in HORNSEA East Riding of Yorkshire. Working with HORNSEA Town Council to assist in the delivery of a 2 evening per week Detached Youth Project and a 2 evening per week Hornsea Youth Club.

The successful applicant will work alongside young people, the Town Council and other stakeholders in delivering a range of activities as a Detached Youth Worker in a variety of settings where young people meet and as a youth worker at the Hornsea Youth Club, assisting young people, giving advice and guidance and assisting in the delivery of sports and craft activities.

The post available is:
Level 1 youth worker for 4 hours per week plus holiday cover - Salary £28142.00 pro rata NJC scale point 11
