Thank you so much to 8-year-old Lacey-Mae for sharing this fantastic image of a pair of geese flying in front of the solar eclipse. Lacey-Mae, who is passionate about astronomy, took the picture from the fields next to Horsey Windpump, using her new smart telescope. We’re so pleased that Lacey-Mae was given the telescope - a present for her 9th birthday - a little early so that she could capture the moment. 🔭🤩

It looks like conditions will be a bit more bearable over the coming days, but still pretty hot! 🌞

You'll find some respite from the heat inside the windpump, can catch the sea breeze from the top (balcony open Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays), and take advantage of several shaded areas on site. 🌳

Our café team will also help you cool down, with a range of tempting iced drinks and ice creams to enjoy under the giant parasols in the outdoor seating area. 🍦
