Re-engage are urgently looking for local volunteer drivers to help keep their Horsham Tea Parties running.

Their next Tea Party is due to take place on Sunday 13th September, but without more volunteer drivers, it may sadly have to be cancelled.

These get-togethers mean so much to older people in our community who may otherwise have very limited opportunities to socialise, so even a small amount of your time could make a huge difference. ❤️

You can help to keep older people socially connected!

Re-engage are looking for Volunteer Drivers to help enable our guests to attend their tea parties. 🚗

🫖 Their tea parties are monthly social gatherings for older people who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness, providing a welcoming space to enjoy conversations, laughter, tea and cake. 🍰

This is a flexible role, only requiring around three hours of your time each month.

⛑️ Be prepared for emergency situations when you’re volunteering – join us for our Basic Life Saving Training for Volunteers ⛑️

By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge to provide BLS interventions, safely use an AED and manage a casualty suffering from anaphylaxis.

⭐ You will also receive an Ofqual Regulated Qualification which lasts for 3 years, as well as a manual and certificate.

Bring a shopping bag and fill it from a selection of mixed groceries and rescued produce for a suggested donation of £5. The food you select helps you and also the planet as it stops it from going to waste! 🍅
