This month, our Antifreeze Day Centre is currently most in need of:

👖 Joggers (S, M, L)
👟 Trainers/walking shoes (sizes 9-11)
👕 T-shirts (S, M)
👖 Jeans (sizes 30, 32, 34)
🧥 Hoodies (S, M, L)

A donation of good-quality clothing you no longer need could provide warmth, comfort and dignity to someone facing a difficult season. 💙

We're looking for a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Lead (Maternity Cover) to help secure the funding that enables Off The Fence to support people facing homelessness, poverty, and vulnerability across our city.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our team and play a key role in transforming lives and restoring hope.

📍 Remote or Hybrid (Hove-based office)
💼 Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract
💷 £30,000

This week, our team has been in school supporting the staff at Blatchington Mill with their Summer School programme for the new Year 7 cohort.

It has been fantastic to meet over 200 students each day, helping them become familiar with their new surroundings and settle into school life. We have already seen new connections being made and friendships beginning to form, which is always wonderful to witness.

Alongside this, we've also been busy updating our school notice board in preparation for the Open Evening in September.

We look forward to welcoming many more students and families in the coming weeks and wish all our new Year 7s the very best as they get ready to start this exciting new chapter. 😊

With the long spell of hot weather continuing, many of our Antifreeze clients are finding it difficult to access basic summer essentials. Right now, the items most urgently needed are:

• Deodorant
• T-shirts (Sizes S & M)
• Joggers (All sizes)
• Shorts (All sizes)
• Trainers/Walking Shoes (Sizes 9/9.5 and 10/10.5)

If you're having a clear out at home, or are able to pick up an extra item while shopping, your support could make a real difference to someone facing hardship this summer.

What a fantastic evening! ☀️🏐

We were delighted to bring together seven local businesses (+ many raffle sponsors!) for an afternoon of friendly volleyball, great conversations, and community spirit, all in support of making a positive local impact.

Not only were some impressive volleyball skills on display, but new connections were made and together we raised an incredible £6,000+ for our poverty-tackling mission! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets, and helped make the event such a success.
