In Ashfield, Vote Reform, Get Development of Green Spaces

Thanks to Reform-run Nottinghamshire County Council, Ashfield District and Ashfield Constituency are set to lose more than our fair share of green fields.
Nottinghamshire County Council is releasing £200 million of its land assets for development.

Sites include:
• 50 acres at Skegby Lane East & West
• 480 acres at Linhurst (Ashfield Constituency)
• 9 acres at Top Wighay (Hucknall)
• 48.8 acres at Broomhill (Hucknall)
• 11 acres at Beck Lane
• 26.75 acres at South Caudwell Road, near West Notts College (Ashfield Constituency)

Quick to flame the fire with dangerous rhetoric but slow to condemn the ensuing violence.

That's some of our Ashfield elected representatives who have spent days carelessly spreading inflammatory rhetoric creating tension and division.

They wanted RAGE and that's what they got. Neo-Nazis on the streets doing their n**i salutes, communities left to clean up the damage, people injured, and young people facing criminal records that could affect the rest of their lives. Utterly irresponsible of them as elected individuals. Shame on them!!

But we see them: recklessly exploiting a tragedy for political gain. Reform have zero vision. Zero plan to improve people's lives. Just outrage, division and finger-pointing.

Will they condemn the violence?

Dear Team Reform UK,
Just stop!

A family has lost their son in horrific circumstances. His family have made their wishes clear:

"We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension. We want his story to help make our streets safer for everyone."

Please respect that.

Stop with the incessant divisive posts, stop with political manipulation and start showing the family respect.

Do what the family ask and honour Henry's memory, by focussing on safer communities, better support for people in crisis, and a police force with the training and resources it needs to keep everyone safe.

It is now a regular occurrence in Ashfield to have poor quality water piped into our homes by Severn Trent.

In addition, our 4 rivers: Erewash, Maun, Meden and Leen are heavily polluted with untreated sewage.

We pay Severn Trent and instead of investing in infrastructure they kill our rivers.

Privatisation of the water companies has been a failed experiment.
