Thank you to the lovely parent that came and cut back the nettles near our entrance to make it safe for our children. We have reported this to the council but no action has been taken yet.
There is still a lot more nettles that need cutting back, including those that restrict the view of staff leaving the school car park.
Please tag any local councillors that may be able to help to get the rest of the path clear!

We had such a busy stay and play last Friday, thank you to everyone that came along to our community session.
Our next session is Friday 10th July, Don't forget to email to confirm attendance as we require minimum numbers to go ahead.
We look forward to welcoming back some familiar faces, and meeting some new families.

We have recently reported some cases of flytipping within our grounds to Kirklees Council. This land is owned by Kirklees Council, and we lease it from them.
This land may look like waste land, but in the future it will be made into an outdoor learning area for the children attending The Cabin HD8 preschool, out of school club and holiday club.
We hope that the council will remove this waste, otherwise this is going to be up to us to arrange. As a community run setting, we should not have to remove garden waste that is not our own.
There are multiple waste disposal sites in Huddersfield.
