It's been an incredibly busy week with 2 transport appeals panels, volunteering at The Bread and Butter thing, chairing the Children's Scrutiny Panel and finishing today with a litter pick in Thornton Lodge and a visit to Let us Speak Out CIC which does some very important work across Kirklees.

I've had a report that a small black cat was hit by a car this morning on Gilbert grove. The cat ran away but please can residents keep an eye out for it. The car owner did not stop and the cat must be hurt. Please can any witnesses report to me in confidence on [email protected]

It's been an incredibly busy week with meetings (including several Children centred meetings), Transport Appeals panels, visits with residents, Bread and Butter thing, a Home Start AGM, ward catch up with officers, Community Group meetings and lots more. I've also been working hard with Imran Safdar and Cllr Abdul Jabar to organise community projects across the ward . This weekend I will be trying to get some admin done and spending time with family.

Please leave bins out for collection which will be done as soon as practical.
