ChitChat Club - Today’s Highlights!
We had such a heart‑warming afternoon together at ChitChat Club. We eased in with some gentle warm‑up conversation starters - everything from favourite recent moments to what makes a day feel “good”. It set the tone beautifully for a relaxed, chatty session.

☕ Tea, coffee, cake and biscuits kept us fuelled before we moved into a lively round of bingo, followed by our big five‑round general knowledge quiz (plus a bonus round!). Carol and Pat were on fire today - they seemed to be collecting all the prizes and gave us plenty of laughs along the way.

To finish, we slowed things down with our reminiscence cards, sparking some truly lovely conversations about childhood and school days.
We heard memories of:
✨ First days at school
✨ Childhood best friends
✨ Favourite treats
✨ Smells that take you right back
✨ Games played for hours on end

It was a beautiful mix of nostalgia, laughter, and shared stories - the kind of afternoon that reminds us why this group is so special.

Chitchat Club – Highlights From a Few Weeks Ago

A few weeks ago, Chitchat Club had a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We kicked things off with bingo, and as always, the room slipped into that classic competitive hush - no chatter, no giggles, just laser‑focused concentration and the soft tap of numbers being marked with absolute seriousness. At this point, it’s practically a professional sport.

Once bingo wrapped up, we moved into our quiz. It turned out to be a little on the easy side, so we’ll be stepping things up next month to keep everyone nicely challenged.

We rounded off the session with some gentle chair‑based exercises, adding a bit of movement before settling into the best part of the afternoon: warm, easy conversation and plenty of lovely chatter.

Looking forward to another warm and lively meet‑up next time on Thursday 11th June at Park Row Centre from 1.30pm.
