📍 Hidden away near Stamford Bridge, just outside York, we came across this forgotten spot…

From the outside it looks like just another old building… but once you step inside, the history starts to show 👀

This place is believed to have once been a rural coach depot, where buses and coaches were parked, repaired, and sent out across the Yorkshire roads years ago 🚌

You can almost picture it:
Engines running, tools clanging, drivers coming and going… now replaced with silence, broken glass, and graffiti covering what’s left 🎨

Nature’s slowly taking it back 🌿
A place that was once full of life is now just another hidden piece of local history.

These are the kind of places we love finding — forgotten, untouched, and full of stories.

Exploring Dalton Grange in Huddersfield after dark… definitely one of the creepiest places we’ve visited 👀 Hidden in the trees off Bradley Mills Road, this abandoned building still looks incredible.

Would you explore it at night?

Tonight we headed out to explore Dalton Grange in Huddersfield. Hidden away off Bradley Mills Road and surrounded by trees, this old building has such an eerie atmosphere, especially once it gets dark.

The old stonework and tower still stand proudly, even though nature is slowly taking over around it. Walking up to it at night definitely gave us that creepy feeling – one of those places that makes you wonder what stories it could tell if the walls could talk.

A proper hidden gem for local explorers and anyone interested in abandoned places around Huddersfield. Would you dare visit after dark? 👀

📍 Exploring hidden history today at Black Dick’s Temple 👀

Visited the fascinating Black Dick’s Temple — a unique and slightly eerie Gothic-style folly tucked away in the woods. Built in the early 19th century by landowner John Edwards (nicknamed “Black Dick”), this structure was never actually a temple, but more of a dramatic ornamental building designed to stand out in the landscape.

The place has a proper mysterious vibe to it — surrounded by trees, a bit worn by time, and full of character. Perfect spot if you’re into urbex, photography, or just finding something a bit different off the beaten path 📸🌿

Definitely worth a visit if you’re local or exploring West Yorkshire. Anyone else been here before?
