Join us in Huntingdon Market Square on Friday 19 June for an evening of live music, great food and a fantastic summer atmosphere.

From 4pm to 9pm, enjoy live music from Charlie and Rehanna Live Music Duo, alongside a great selection of food traders:

As part of our bid to become the UK Town of Culture 2030, DCMS are creating a special exhibition that celebrates what makes our towns unique, Huntingdon has been invited to submit a 'digital postcard' to be used in the exhibition – and we want your voice to be part of it.

Imagine you're sending a postcard from Huntingdon to the rest of the WORLD!

This drop in session is taking place this Thursday. Pop along and share your views on this active travel scheme.

Come along and let us know about proposals for the Brampton to Huntingdon active travel scheme at a drop-in session next week. Whether you're a local resident, work in the area or have a connection to a local school we'd welcome views and feedback from anyone with an interest in this scheme.

We'll have plans of the proposed road layouts with what the changes hope to bring, along with officers who can help with any questions you may have. No need to book, just drop-in.

We're flying both the Union Flag and the Hungarian national flag from the Town Hall Balcony this week, to mark the 30th anniversary since the signing of the Twinning charter between Huntingdon and Szentendre.

We will be welcoming a delegation from Szentendre later this week to re-sign the charter. Our thanks to the Huntingdon & Godmanchester Twinning Association for organising this visit.

** The eagle eyed amongst you may also spot that we have replaced the Union Flag that flies from the roof of the Town Hall. Getting up onto the roof safely requires trained staff and the right weather conditions, which has meant it’s taken a little longer than we would have liked. The recent weather hasn’t helped either!
We’re pleased to have a new flag flying again. Thank you for your patience.

Today we welcomed Huntingdon Pensioners to our annual Summer Tea, this year themed around the Trooping of the Colours.

Our thanks to RAW Theatre Productions for the entertainment, RAF Wyton volunteers for their help serving the refreshments, and our team of councillors (plus one Macebearer!) for their support with the raffle.

We’re still looking for food traders to join our next Sunset Beats & Bites event on Friday 19 June.

Following a fantastic first event, we’ve seen strong footfall and great feedback from traders and visitors alike.

We have limited space remaining and are particularly keen to hear from traders offering varied street food to complement our line-up.
