This is James Upton, 26, who has been recently jailed after he attacked his former partner and continually breached a restraining order.

Upton breached his restraining order by making multiple attempts to contact the victim by phone and turned up at her house on different occasions.

During one of those visits, Upton pushed the victim to the floor, biting her, and kicking her in the stomach. He was arrested and charged with ABH and four counts of harassment - breach of restraining order, which he admitted.

What's that in the sky? A plane or a bird?

Nope... it's a police drone.

Our officers are going to be doing some night time drone training in the St Neots and Little Paxton areas throughout September.

If you see some drones in the sky this month, it's more than likely it will be us practising our night flying.

Our drones act as that eye in the sky for our officers on the ground when dealing with calls, especially searching for missing people.

That's an average of 13 urgently graded calls about domestic abuse every single day.

A former tennis coach, teaching assistant and two waitresses were among the men and women who passed out at force HQ.

The 15 student police officers were welcomed to the force yesterday afternoon by Chief Constable Simon Megicks and will now be posted to police stations across the county.

We’re looking for people to join them and inviting applications to our Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP).

The PCEP is a two-year course focused on police skills, which is not academically focused, but has a range of assessments.

Chief Constable Simon Megicks joined Ian Sollom MP, MP for St Neots, on a patrol around the town yesterday 🚔 👍

They spoke about a variety of issues on their walk about the town centre, visiting many shops and businesses along the way which gave them the chance to listen first-hand to any local concerns and appreciate how the local community were feeling.

Of particular note was a woman who worked in one of the town’s charity shops and said she had confronted shoplifters. A thank you was given to her, and businesses were also encouraged to report any shoplifting where possible so we can target hotspot areas and build up a picture of what is happening in a specific area.

🚔 What do all these vehicles have in common?

They've all been recovered by your Huntingdonshire neighbourhood officers this year.

To date, the team have recovered more than 25 suspected stolen vehicles, including high-value cars, vans, a tractor, caravan and motorbikes, with an estimated total value of more than £500,000.

Recovered vehicles include a Porsche Macan, BMW M3 Competition, BMW X5, Audi Q7, Ford Rangers, Nissan Navaras, Ford Transits, a Kubota tractor, a Swift Challenger caravan, and a further seven stolen motorbikes and mopeds.

Recovering stolen vehicles helps return property to rightful owners, disrupt criminal activity and make our communities safer.

Chief Constable Simon Megicks and St Ives neighbourhood sergeant Andy Caruana were joined by Ben Obese-Jecty MP on a patrol of St Ives recently.

They spoke about the variety of issues on their walk about the town centre, including the success of addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB) at the bus station with street drinking and harassment.

The perpetrators have now moved on and are no longer frequenting the area.

That email claiming you’ve won a prize, the text message telling you you’ve missed a delivery, or the phone call from the bank to let you know there’s been some suspicious activity on your account.

Most of us can spot phishing scams a mile off – the typos, the elaborate email addresses and the urgency to take action by clicking a link or divulging your details.
