A Message of Support to Our Nepalese Community

Hythe Town Council would like to extend its heartfelt thoughts and sympathies to members of our Nepalese community following the recent disaster in Nepal.

We recognise that many local families will have relatives, friends and loved ones who have been affected, and we share in their concern and grief at this deeply distressing time.

Our thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones, and with everyone affected by this tragedy. We hope that, in the days ahead, they find strength, comfort and support from family, friends and the wider community.

Our thoughts and solidarity are with Nepal and with all those who have been impacted.

🎉 IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE THE TIDE TALES PATH!

More than 500 individually created mosaic bricks have been brought together to create a permanent community artwork in Hythe — and that deserves a celebration!

Join us at Oakland Park Bandstand for a relaxed community get-together with live music and a picnic in the park, celebrating the incredible community effort behind the Tide Tales Path.

Whether you've been part of the project along the way or are discovering it for the first time, everyone is welcome.

Bring your friends, family and a picnic, find a spot on the grass and enjoy the music!
