Bicclescombe Mill

Bicclescombe Mill Bicclescombe Mill was first listed in 1795 as a corn mill. By the end of World War II it had fallen The restoration work was completed in June 1975.

In 1973 after 10 years of restoration work by the Rotary Club, the English Tourist Board gave a grant to cover the cost of completing the remaining restoration work. This included converting the adjoining farmhouse into a Tea Rooms and Craft Centre with additional funding from Ilfracombe Urban District Council. The restoration work was masterminded by Glanville Pedlar & Glanville's son, Richard, a Bristol architect, drew up the plans.

Chill at the Mill is coming up and it is a relaxed, SEN/neurodivergent-friendly session for young adults to connect, unwind and meet others in a safe, welcoming and understanding environment.

We’ve created a supportive space where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves, with a variety of activities available to enjoy at their own pace. Drinks and snacks available.
