Bicclescombe Mill

Bicclescombe Mill Bicclescombe Mill was first listed in 1795 as a corn mill. By the end of World War II it had fallen The restoration work was completed in June 1975.

In 1973 after 10 years of restoration work by the Rotary Club, the English Tourist Board gave a grant to cover the cost of completing the remaining restoration work. This included converting the adjoining farmhouse into a Tea Rooms and Craft Centre with additional funding from Ilfracombe Urban District Council. The restoration work was masterminded by Glanville Pedlar & Glanville's son, Richard, a Bristol architect, drew up the plans.

Some of you might be wondering how Pebbles is… 🐐
Here she is! After getting herself stuck whilst trying to eat something tasty the other side, we’ve had to put up another fence with smaller holes… so it’s now officially Pebble proofed! 😂
She’s happy and hopes to be back out to the mill when the weather is a little cooler to see everyone☀️
