Today marks 25 years of offshore wind power: an initiative that reduced the UK’s spending on imported fuels by up to Β£30bn.

Without wind power the country would’ve imported & burned over 20 million tonnes of gas over the last 25 years.

Wind works 🌬️ For the climate and the economy.

Fabulous news and lots of new local members here in North Devon and Ilfracombe as well! Welcome πŸ’šπŸ’š

Next Thursday evening 10th July I’m chairing a public meeting about health inequalities in North Devon, to be held at Petroc.

We are seeing rising health inequalities across N Devon . This is a chance to hear from experts in the field - what impacts do they see in our communities, what are the reasons for these inequalities and what can be done at a council level to help.? It’s open to anyone from the public to come and there will be time for questions from the floor.
See below for details πŸ‘‡
