Our teams work alongside people all across the UK, to enable them to create change in their own lives. We specialise in homelessness services, supported housing, services for people recovering from mental ill-health, community-based advice

and support and young people’s services to name just a few. We are a ‘people first’ organisation and our mission is to work alongside people to improve lives and communities, to unlock potential and open new possibilities. We know the work we do does make a real and lasting difference and we are committed to addressing challenges that others won’t. As A Million Acts of Hope comes to a close, we want to leave people with one simple message: hope can start with how we treat each other.

It can be found in a kind conversation, a safe place to turn, a relationship built on trust, or the courage to take one small step forward.

Across P3, we see these moments every day in our communities and services. They remind us that hope is not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes, it begins when someone feels listened to, believed in and supported.

When people talk about homelessness, the focus is often on what someone has lost.

But Andre’s story is also about what can be rebuilt.

Stability.
Confidence.
A sense of direction.
A future that feels possible again.

As part of the A Million Acts of Hope campaign, we’re sharing stories that show what hope can look like in real life.

After being supported by P3’s street outreach team in Wolverhampton, Andre is now living in temporary accommodation and taking steps towards his future.

That is what an act of hope can do. It can help someone see beyond today.

After being supported by P3 in Gloucestershire, Leigham is now using his lived experience to provide specialist substance misuse support at P3’s Acorn House, walking alongside others as they take steps in their own recovery.

For Leigham, hope is not just about where he is now. It’s about helping others believe change is possible too.
