Three steps lead down to a small modern kitchen with fine views over the moorlands. Warm and welcoming, this Ingleton cottage has a separate dining room with views of the viaduct, whilst upstairs are two traditional bedrooms and a stylish and spacious bathroom. Outside this Ingleton cottage is a small patio area offering opportunities to sit and relax with a morning coffee. A short stroll brings you to the village amenities including a local inn, shops and even a seasonal open air heated swimming pool! The bustling market town of Settle has an excellent array of pubs, restaurants and quaint independent shops. The nearby Settle-to-Carlisle railway is well worth a trip as it takes you through spectacular limestone scenery and over the Ribblehead Viaduct in the heart of the Three Peaks countryside. For those interested in outdoor pursuits, this Ingleton cottage is ideally placed for hikers, cavers and cyclists with numerous majestic caves and waterfalls in the vicinity and a network of public footpaths. The coast at Morecambe Bay is just 20 miles, and a 30 minute drive finds you in the stunning Lake District. A lovely Ingleton cottage in a superb location. Location: Ingleton Kirkby Lonsdale 6 miles; Settle 12 miles. Nestling under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the attractive village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. The centre of the village is pretty with narrow and winding streets, centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves (a mile outside the village on the Hawes road) are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake. There is a superb circular waterfall walk (“Falls Walk”) which takes in some impressive cascades. An excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District.
