Performances run until Saturday with tickets available through the Eastgate Theatre

All the world's a stage, wrote Shakespeare, and nowhere does that feel truer than at Traquair. On a glorious Borders evening, with peacocks calling in the distance, goats grazing unconcernedly nearby, live musicians leading the audience from scene to scene, and performers appearing from every corner...

So in amongst all the May madness, we still had time for the small and intimate wedding of Taylor & Kendall.
8th of May - just dried up enough for a ceremony on the wine glass lawn.
And did we mention the dress? Wow - just wow!

Providing the sounds of Medieval life are some fantastic performances to fill the air with music and song!
🪕Gaita plays their early music in the Walled Garden on both days 12pm and 3.30pm.
🪉The Galloway Consort entertains in the Chapel on Saturday 2pm and 4pm.
🎺Our new addition, The Serpent Ensemble, plays in the Chapel on Sunday 2.30pm and 4pm.

🐎Les Amis D'Onno show off their incredible jousting display on the avenue.
🦅Elite Falconry wow with their array of birds of prey.
🪓See gruesome punishments performed by the Perth Executioner, courtesy of History and Horror Tours.
⚔️See authentic battle re-enactments and living history camps from The Northern Alliance, Medieval Realm, Company of St Margaret, The Douglas Retinues, and Les Chardons D'Orleans.
🌿In the garden see demonstrations of wood-working, weaving, stone carving, herbalists, and a medieval forge.
🍗Historic Food Demonstration on the avenue from Viking Heritage Kitchen.
🎭Enjoy a hilarious jester routine from our Medieval Acrobats, courtesy of Think Circus.
