This past weekend, members of the Recruiting Group took on the challenge of the world-famous Baxter’s Loch Ness Marathon.
Organised by CSgt Peter Muir, Armed Forces Careers Office Commander in Inverness, the team also comprised of SSgt Simpson (Aberdeen Commander), Capt Wheatley (SO3 Scotland), and Maj Dickens (SO2 Scotland), who successfully completed the challenge.
Their participation demonstrated many of the qualities expected of military personnel, including resilience, determination, and the ability to persevere when faced with demanding circumstances.
Supported by the SCOTS Infantry Engagement Team and Outreach Teams from Edinburgh and Glasgow, the group engaged with members of the public throughout the weekend, highlighting the wide range of opportunities and careers available within the British Army.
