The Inverness Highland Games will take place this coming weekend on Saturday 20 July 2013 as part of the Inverness Summer Festival.

Founded in 1822 the Inverness Highland Games has got to be one of the highlights of any visit to our beautiful Highland capital.

If you fancy trying your hand at one of the heavy events, track, field athletics, dancing or the piping competitions then get down early and put your name down. Registrations are accepted on the day only.

Big congratulations to Isaac for competing in his first international - the UK stage of the North Sea Cup. Isaac was competing against the top junior windsurfers from France and Holland. Conditions were super challenging with strong tides and variable winds.

This weekend he was closer to home sailing in Largs with a Team 15 event and the Scottish windsurfing championships. First places in both! Yahoooo!

Staff from AWS Ocean Energy had a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with the Wave & Tidal community at the All Energy Expo in Aberdeen this week. Wave & Tidal energy is now a major focus of the event with over 34% of people last year attending just to check out our exciting industry.
