This week down on the reserve- Strimming, boardwalk repair, weeding and litterpicks, oh and dodging showers.

This week down on the reserve- Sunshine and lots of it🌞, finished off the orchard and joined Becca from the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh with her project to protect rare plants across Scotland.
Our volunteers helped transplant Pedicularis palustris{marsh lousewort} from our wetlands, where there is an abundance in order to control the grasses around the reintroduction of Saxifraga hiruclus {Yellow marsh saxifrage}.

Big thanks to Becca and our volunteers for the hard work and a great week😁😁😁

This week down on the reserve- All the paths strimmed, last of the planting in the container bed, litterpicks, removing bindweed from saplings.

The area of land at Merkinch in Inverness was designated a nature haven almost 20 years ago.

This week down on the reserve- Strimming Snowberry, last of the weeding and sowing on the container bed, sorting tree guards in the Willow field.
