✨ POLITE REQUEST ✨

If you have a large amount of books to donate I would really appreciate them being popped to a local charity shop.

The Little Free Library’s purpose is to be a ‘take one, leave one’ way for us as a community to enjoy book swapping. It becomes unenjoyable when too many books are left. People can’t access or enjoy looking because of the overflow and the doors won’t shut which causes damage to books and the wind to catch the doors.

Please be mindful, if you are donating a couple of books I really appreciate you doing this if there is space. But PLEASE can we be sensible when donating if this can lead to damage of books and of the unit which has cost us from our own pockets.

Full of books, some Little Free Library bookmarks (10 in the pot just now), and glorious sunshine! ☀️

I hope this is a positive addition to the community to take books and donate books, as an avid reader myself I hope this spreads some of my passion for reading to others 🫶🏼

Little Free Library Croy is ready to go next week 📚

📍 Outside Croy Community Garden

I’m awaiting a sign which is in the process of being made, I can put it out tomorrow without the sign but just looking for some feedback whether people want it right now!

Can’t wait to get going with this, it will be a lovely way for the community to take and donate books 📖
