So how did it all start? Well in 2016 I moved to London. I rode around all the courier firm offices and ended up at GLH, a taxi company with a courier wing.
The boss gave me a test to take, asking me what order the bridges were in, what happened at the Brompton Oratory and a lot of things I didn't know. I got given a radio, a messenger bag and a waterproof.
It was February, and temperatures were sub-zero. Over the next two years I delivered from 8AM, sometimes til 9 at night, all over central London and beyond, powered by black coffee and porridge.
What did I deliver? Haure Couture, tapes for the Great British Bake-off, props for Madame Tussauds, glasses to opticians and passports to and from embassies. Point to point, one pedal turn at a time.
It was the best job I ever had. Flash forward 4 years and I'm back in Ipswich, and you can take the gal off of the courier circuit, but you can't take the courier circuit out of the girl!
So I founded Joni's Courier Delivery Service. Me, my bike and 105 litres of carrying capacity. And I'm ready to deliver whatever you need anywhere across Ipswich, same day, by hand.
It's a simple promise, summed up in two words: Joni Delivers. Hello Ipswich!
