Been along time away folks, but been tackling life and taking a new hobby at warp speed to keep my mental health on side πŸ‘ so this is now my evening, weekends spare time all neatly rolled up to keep my brain ticking quite nicely, sorry its nerdy, geekish or what ever you like to call it but its helping me deal with life πŸ’ͺ hopefully everyone has a hobby or pastime to keep busy with and relax and unwind to. The great thing with this hobby it comes with some very interesting audio books that really help relax even on simple things like driving, dog walks and whilst make and painting models.

Tackling this hobby has been possible by all the guys at work who taught me and play in our spare time and over long lengthy chats and calls in evenings. Cheers for work for letting us have this opportunity to do something we enjoy and develop as individuals and as teams.

No filters needed for this kind of craftsmanship, many thanks to Dan for doing this at short notice. πŸ™ thank you it will mean so much to the gentlemen that owns these to see them with a new lease of life as its the only memories he has unfortunately with dementia.

Please make every veteran in this country feel valued and wanted they are the best thing any generation has. Cherish that especially near remembrance parades.

Now on to sorting my No.2 Dress ready to give him them tomorrow before 11am. πŸ’‚

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning. We will remember them.

Tell them of us when you go home, for their tomorrow we gave our today.

Wear your poppy with pride.

11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month was the armistice of the great war and the moment from then that we held remembrance day since. And the closet Sunday to the 11th also is marked as Remembrance Sunday. Reflect and remember all those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our beloved country and freedoms by laying down ones life for the greater cause. From not just the first world war but every conflict since and even our service people that died on duty preforming their job in our country or abroad.

Tomorrow will be a chance me to do this as I will meet a veterans tomorrow and be able to thank him for his service. Its a small thing that's means alot to some people of the older generation that feel like they are forgotten.

Also side quest. Once I've finished remembrance parades my focus is for movember and the tash is going strong already photos to follow.

Sorry been quiet for a while... had lots on and lots to deal with, I haven't forgot the world just the little world closer to home is my priority currently.

Update on me to let everyone know, I've spent the last two weeks unable to walk or move correctly as my spine has once again ejected. With no reason to be key to its flare up, upon inspection there are no rounds in the chamber 🀣, all jokes aside its been traumatic at best, kids always wondering if dads okay and wife having to support me in everything, but meds, physio and rest is starting to work slowly, its going to be a long time before I pick a bergen up again but I hope soon I can start to get back on my feet.

Also I've been dealing with my mental health issues at home and work. Can't thank everyone in the welfare system, friends, family and support groups.
Audiobooks have really helped my headspace to redirect my thoughts and emotions and passion. Sorry I'm a nerd and enjoy this genre of books.

Mounted πŸ‘Œ quick turn around for a self mounting service from ebay shop.

Emailed and asked for a QPJM single court mount, finally arrived and all I had to do was sew the medal to the board and its complete πŸ‘ amazing quality and the hassle free factor of not posting medals or losing them in post was removed, all ready for remembrance parades coming soon.

Even if I'm in uniform or not I'll wear mine proudly, like always if I'm in uniform I wear my Granddads mini under my jacket as self pride 🀫 don't tell the RSM, and if I'm in my 3 piece suit I wear my corps tie, beret, and his full size medals on the right as a mark of family respect and I always carry a corps coin in my pocket ❀

After a few months battling to be in work at the right time to see the boss to collect my medal its finally in my possession πŸ™Œ nice to finally have a gong to my chest as silly as it sounds.

Next important matter

CC-1 to all tailors of medals can anyone fit me in for a court mounting please ASAP, needed for remembrance parades next month and our camp tailor has a ridiculous lead time currently due to all other events that have happened recently.

Quick check nav... last post didn't work with the content. Pic no text....

So I'll rephrase and repost.
Thanks for all the support like the last post should have said I haven't been active for the best part of a while due to personal reasons, I am glad that followers are still massing as I've just hit to 500+ mark. Thanks all. Content may be slow since May and my shake up health wise, but bare with as I am currently out of content due to not having any research after needing to concentrate on personal life and family. But once I'm in a better place, posting will take up again with a more personal, mental, health, attitude, wellbeing and historic content style. Thanks for holding in there see you all soon πŸ‘

Good morning folks, so I haven't posted anything for a long time. Apologies on that front, but lately the past few weeks has been stressful on an entirely new level.

Not just being on the most mentally breaking course of my military career so far (for the second time) which also adds immense pressure to do better personally and as a team on the course. *Finally passed also* now one of the newest ARSI's πŸ‘

But I opened up about my last few months of stress and work/life/health issues and what I through was small, snowballed so big it maybe felt a relief to talk about it but at the same time it affected me so badly that during the course, the stress hospitalised me.

I'm honestly not going to let myself get to that level again, I'm now on the mend and now ARSI is out the way. Normal work, looking after my wife and kids, next career course (Skillys fingers crossed) and finishing unfinished things like the diary which I'm sorry I've neglected but life has it ways of shaking things around.

Also as nerdy as it sounds, I've taken a more mellow approach to a new hobby until I work out my limits and docs are happy with my stress, reduction in caffeine (only decaff for now 😭) and lifestyle. So I've joined my fellowship of lads at work and started Warhammer 40k... yes its something I use to do many years ago but it helped destress me over the last couple of weeks after the incident and I feel its a smart hobby to move towards to calm me down a little in life.

Hope everyone can understand that content, interaction and the 246th will slow down slightly to help me adjust and detox. Thanks as always for everyone's support. UBIQUE.

Part 2 of 2 β€’Another great form of looking at this is gym weight plates, with training come practice and safe environments to be under undue pressure and external stressor, like the plate above it says "25kg [training]", this can ultimately help when a real life event (a competitive or affective event) becomes that weight again, but even though they are the same weight, the real one can feel lighter due to training like the "25kg [competition]", in a mental resilience manner. But remember not every scenario can be trained for or some happen without warning and planning. That weight can become unbearable, so a understanding coach would step in and apply the brakes and understand the issues and begin a training programme, with empathy and sympathy to better work with and to lift the weight more efficiently and effectively with better technique and understanding.

(C) for the images no infringement intended, just a great set of pictures to explain the post. These guys deliver great gym equipment so if the physical and mental fitness is what you want to improve head over and check out their shop πŸ’ͺ
