🎉 Wonderful News for Kesgrave! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that Kesgrave Town Council has been awarded a 'Highly Commended' honour in the prestigious 'Council of the Year' category at the Suffolk Community Awards 2026! 🏆✨

This recognition truly celebrates our dedicated 'Can Do' approach in serving our wonderful community, and it's a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team, supported by you, our fantastic residents. 💚

The awards ceremony was a vibrant occasion held at the Food Museum in Stowmarket, bringing together community representatives from across Suffolk. It was inspiring to celebrate so many individuals and organisations who tirelessly dedicate their time and energy to support others across the county.

With a record-breaking 305 nominations received this year, the competition was incredibly strong, making this 'Highly Commended' status even more special. While only a select few received awards, every single nominee has made an invaluable contribution to strengthening communities throughout Suffolk.

Thank you for your continued support and for making Kesgrave such a fantastic place to live and work. This honour belongs to our whole community!

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Fake NHS Phone Calls 🚨

Kesgrave Town Council is urging residents to be vigilant following reports of a new phone scam targeting our community.

The Scam: You may receive an unexpected call (often from an '07' mobile number) with a recorded message claiming your GP is "updating their registry." It asks you to press '1' to set up a mobile app so you can keep attending your local surgery.

Please remember: The NHS will NEVER cold call you asking you to press buttons to maintain access to your doctor. Scammers use this high-pressure trick to steal your personal and financial details.

If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately.

👉 For full details on how to spot spoofed numbers, protect yourself, and what to do if you’ve already shared information, please visit our website: https://kesgravetowncouncil.gov.uk/all-content/urgent-alert-protect-yourself-from-nhs-scam-phone-calls

Please share this alert with friends, family, and vulnerable neighbours to help keep our community safe! 💙
