Here is the ambitious blueprint for the Monumental Constructions community build.

Across Sat 21st + Sun 22nd October, artist Olivier Grossetete and the people of Ipswich will come together on the Cornhill to construct the watergate entrance of Cardinal Wolsey's Tudor college from cardboard.

The huge creation expands on the existing Wolsey's Gate design, and imagines what it could have looked like if the Cardinal's vision had been completed. Who's excited to get stuck in with the build?

For those wanting to get extra hands-on, spill_festival are running community build workshops on Wed 18th and Fri 20th Oct at Ipswich Town Hall, and need more builders!

Find out about the project and how to get involved at www.spillfestival.com

Monumental Constructions is a SPILL Festival 2023 project, generously supported by Ipswich Borough Council and Ipswich Central.
