Ipswich Area Committees

Ipswich Area Committees Area Committees are local public meetings for Ipswich residents. They allocate funding, discuss local issues, and allow Ipswich residents to have their say

Area Committees give you the chance to influence Council decision making, share your opinion and contribute to positive changes in your neighbourhood. As a resident of Ipswich, this is your opportunity to say what you would like to see improved. Ipswich is divided into five areas, and each of those areas are split into wards. There are three councillors per ward, representing you, a resident of th

at area. Councillors work with residents, businesses and community groups at these public meetings to discuss how money can be spent and how the area can be improved. Funding is available for local charities and community groups to make a positive impact in the local area. Funding is given in line with each area action plan, a copy of which can be requested from [email protected]. If you represent a local project or organisation which needs funding to improve an area of Ipswich, please contact your Ward Councillor or email [email protected] for more details.
