☀️ IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

With temperatures forecast to reach around 35°C on Wednesday, 24th June, we want to reassure all visitors, exhibitors and speakers that we are taking every precaution to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable event for everyone.

Measures in place include:
💧 Water stations throughout the venue
🌬️ Air con in all event rooms (apart from the willow - doors will be open for air flow)
🏠 Fully shaded indoor venue
⛱️ Shaded undercover seating areas outside
🍴 Food and refreshments available from the bar all day

If you are attending, please:
✔️ Allow extra travel time
✔️ Bring a refillable water bottle
✔️ Dress lightly and comfortably
✔️ Apply sunscreen if spending time outdoors
✔️ Listen to your body and take breaks when needed

If you are feeling unwell, vulnerable to the heat, or have concerns about travelling in these conditions, please consider staying at home and prioritising your wellbeing.

Dementia Marketplace 2026 is just 2 weeks away!

Care Development East is hosting this free event on Wednesday 24th June, 10am–3pm at Venue 16, Ipswich. We'll be exhibiting!

Join us to explore local dementia support services, speak with us and other professionals, attend talks, and access practical advice for carers and families. A dedicated activities room will also support people living with dementia while carers attend sessions.
