🎉📚As part of the National Year of Reading, we have received funding which will be used for a series of creative, interactive storytelling events for children and young people aged 10 to 16.

The first two events take place this Thursday at Kettering Library and Rushden Library

Pirate Day be tomorrow, and ye be invited! Join us from 10:00am to 12:00pm for a morning packed with pirate adventures.

There'll be:

- Swashbuckling pirate games
- Creative pirate crafts
- Fantastic pirate stories
- Sea-shanty songs

And for pirates aged 5 and above, the Lego room will be open so ye can build a mighty ship fit for the high seas!

Public Spaces Protection Order – Dog Control 2026 extension - Second consultation

In June and July 2026, we asked for views on the proposed extension to the current North Northamptonshire Council's Dog Control Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). This second consultation asks for views on some proposed changes to the PSPO and focuses only on proposed new restrictions and amendments to specific locations.

Ahoy there matey! Ready to collect your medal and certificate, come along to our Pirate morning on Wednesday 26th from 10:00-12:00. Lots of activities, with time to collect your summer reading challenge medal and certificate, sing a few sea shanty's, dig for treasure, pirate crafts. Dress up if you fancy.
