Unfortunately, we have had to temporarily close Richings Park Play Area for safety reasons due to works being carried out at Richings Park Sports Club, which is in close proximity to the play area.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 – 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Whitbread PLC is bringing forward proposals for an industrial and logistics park at Denham Court Drive.

A public consultation will run from 10–23 September 2026, giving local residents the opportunity to view the proposals and share their views.

There will also be public drop-in events:

📍 Thursday 10 September, 3–7pm – Denham Bowls Club
📍 Saturday 12 September, 11am–3pm – Denham Village Memorial Hall

As we enjoy the hot weather and the temperature seems to be rising again this week, our fenced play areas, play and gym equipment are being well used. However, the blazing sun may cause some equipment to get hot and this just reminds users to be vigilant to warm / hot equipment.

We are particularly aware that the slide at Richings Park fence area does get hot in the sunlight. Please be conscious of this as you enjoy our play and gym facilities.

Our Parish Neighbourhood Plan is under review, and we need your voice and ideas. This plan directly influences future decisions on local heritage, green spaces, and major developments in our area. A massive thank you to those who participated in our third workshop – we had good conversations and generated ideas regarding if we had a new development in the area, how should this be integrated.

The next round of our workshops will cover: Identification of Potential New Policies and Natural Capital (green spaces, green belt etc).

Buckinghamshire Local Plan 2045 – Public Consultation Now Open

Buckinghamshire Council is inviting residents, businesses and community groups to have their say on the Proposed Submission Draft Local Plan, which will help shape where and how development takes place across Buckinghamshire until 2045.

This is the final public consultation before the Plan is submitted for independent examination.

The consultation is open from Thursday 23 July 2026 until 11:59pm on Sunday 6 September 2026.

Comments at this stage should focus on whether the Plan meets the relevant legal requirements and whether it is considered sound.
