Excited to be welcoming journalist and writer Ellie Barker to Ivybridge Library next Wednesday 27 May at 2pm.

experience of the broadcast industry at ITV West Country and GMTV to tell the story of TV Executive Grace Leven who has the job, the title, and the polished public image to match, but whose world is quietly falling apart. Her marriage is over. Her best friend has vanished. And one damning piece of footage could unravel the career she’s spent decades building. Next Friday is the first of our Neighbourhood Crankie workshops!
Join artists Sara and Wendy and co-create a Crankie - a long rolling scroll telling a story of Ivybridge.

There are two workshops, the first is on Friday 15 May and the second is on Friday 5 June and will be part of the festival. Both 4 - 6pm.

There are still tickets left, so don't miss this opportunity to be part of a fun, creative community project!

Tickets are just £3 for library members and give access to both workshops, so its an absolute bargain!

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.
