The Milldale Drama group performed "Its a Musical" show with the wonderful tutors from Youth Theatre

Live on stage this week we enjoyed performing for our family and friends at the new venue The Kiln . We will show the performance to all at Milldale during Keygroup time this Friday. The link for the full show will be sent out to all our Milldale parents and carers.

A huge thank you to Ali from Erskine Arts who captured the excitement of the day and created another great video for us to enjoy.

Scottish Learning Disability Week is a chance to share your experience and call for change.

What does being seen mean to you?

When have you felt included? When have you felt left out? What could have been different?

Your story can help other people understand what life is like for people with learning disabilities and what needs to change to make sure people are respected, included and have equal opportunities.

You can write it, draw it, make a video or record your voice.

There is no right way to tell your story. Tell it your way.

Well done to all who took part in Milldale's 2026 Colour run. Funded by donations from parents and carers we enjoyed walking, wheeling and sprinting!

Supported by the wonderful Amanda the Panda and 2 team players for St Mirren's Woman's Academy it was a great sporting achievement from all!

Milldale's Colour Walk & Wheel is this Friday 14th August! Details have been sent to all who attend on a Friday. Medals for all who are taking part!

*Cover t-shirts will be provided however we advised old clothes are worn for the event.*

The Friends of Barshaw Park group have been working hard over the summer. We are looking forward to helping in more local community gardens in the next programme!

Linda, George and Gary had a great visit to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Hub. Modelling official "merch" donated to Milldale the group they were delighted to tour the city and support the teams.

Linda's key group took a trip to Calderglen Park this Summer. All Milldale keygroups will venture out to different places over July & August in the Summer Programme.
